Quality Assurance System

The USC's framework QMS was designed following the model of the national and regional quality agency ACSUG, and was initially articulated in 7 guidelines in accordance with the FIDES-AUDIT program, and was distributed in 6 guidelines in its latest version, which responds to the European criteria and guidelines for quality assurance (ESG).

The USC approved the first framework system in December 2009 and it was later simplified in 2013. After 5 years of validity, in February 2018 the Commission for Quality and Planning delegated by the Government Council approved a modification of the system consisting of the simplification of the documentation that seeks effective and efficient implementation in the centers and the creation of an institutional level that ensures the European criteria and guidelines in those areas of decision that fall on the institution.

The new documentation structure is made up of an institutional level and a center level that have a system manual and a process manual that ensures decision-making in the different responsible bodies, the availability of the necessary resources and the continuous improvement of the training programs and of the system's own functioning.

Our center has adapted these manuals, within the framework of action in the verification process of the Degree in Hospitality Business Management, having a system manual and a CSHG process manual, in its first edition.
