The students formed with wines of the DOP Jumilla
It is one of the multiple tastings that develop in the subject of Oenology
Santiago, 9 March 2020. The professor of Oenology Nuria Cid invited this course to the Denomination of Origin Protected (DOP) Jumilla to a tasting of a collection of his best wines. This demonstration took place in a specific classroom of the centre where the students learnt to differentiate the qualities and acidities of the distinct wines presented by 16 cellars.
This is a training that helps to the managerial futures to moldearse like professional futures of the management hotelera and kitchen.

The Denomination of Origin Protected Jumilla possesses a tradition vitivinícola that traces back to the rests of vitis vinífera ? Beside utensils and archaeologic rests- found in Jumilla originarios of the year 3.000 to.C., being the most ancient of Europe.
In the DOP Jumilla elaborate five classes of wine: tintos, pink, whites, sweet and wines of liquor, and premium the production of autochthonous varieties. The grape Monastrell is the base of 70% of the wines that elaborate in this Denomination of Origin Protected.
